Frankly speaking, I was panic during the early stage of the pandemic because it is full of uncertainty. Luckily, we human is always capable of adapting to a new norm. Our lives resume to normal after sometimes, though we might experience inconvenience due to the safety measures. Everyday scenes are precious because it captures and evident moments of vitality. This is the main reason for me to illustrate the scene of people doing grocery shopping at Toa Payoh neighbourhood Ang Mo Supermarket. It is an everyday scene that happens regardless of before or after COVID. The process of me pen down lines and strokes on paper is not merely a  recording of what I had seen, it helps me to reflect and reinterpret my personal daily life.
