Named after Sir John Anderson, it was opened in 1910 to supplement the capacity of Cavenagh Bridge - the oldest bridge across the Singapore River. Artist: Pua Ann Chi

"Based in Singapore, I have been passionate about drawing and painting since I am a small child. I love art, whether is creating it myself or looking at other artists work is a great enjoyment to me. Normal is boring; I am always on the lookout for new techniques to try and exploring my understanding of design.

I am interested in weird ideas like juxtaposition or collage. The impressionistic abstract art of me is deeply inspired by Psychedelic artwork and pop art style.  I usually work in highly distorted and surreal visuals, bright colors and illusion background, mostly with the collage element as the main subject because I believe that the imperfections and oddities are what make the world interesting and fun."
