This peacock painting was created after she became a mother.

One day at Capella Singapore, she saw a pair of peacocks. The male peacock stood quietly, gazing at the female. She immediately captured the moment in a photograph.

The flowers and plants in the composition are not a realistic landscape, but rather the plants she truly loves. Like memories, they are carefully placed within the painting. For the background, she used a wet-on-wet technique with diluted oil paint, allowing the space to appear and recede in a soft, atmospheric haze.

After becoming a mother, there were times when she would carry her daughter on her back while painting in order to care for her. These moments became shared experiences-intimate memories created together.

She sincerely hopes that through this painting, viewers can feel the profound love embedded within it.
