Shadowed details cast a darkened brown hue against the red mist enveloping the entire canvas. The discernable fields of colour and regions of blending are reminiscent of Mark Rothko’s Colour Field Paintings where rectangles of muted, almost translucent colour softly emanated, immersing the viewers in their scale. These deceptively simple, non-referential paintings can amplify or subdue moods and emotions with colours that can be customized in paintings by our in-house artist.
